Books for Amnesty
Amnesty Bookshops are second-hand bookshops which raise money for Amnesty's work. We strive to be an engaging and friendly part of each local community where we are based.
There area plenty of different tasks and roles depending on your interests and the shop's needs, including: serving customers , sorting donations, creating displays, collecting donations, writing social media posts, managing online listings, or even organising events.
ESSENTIAL; Good communication skills. Interest in books. Commitment to equal opportunities' Commitment to Amnesty's work' Willingness to work as part of a team. Ability to follow Amnesty's policies and guidelines.
DESIRABLE; Computer skills Knowledge of book-selling, music, musical instruments....
- Spend time around beautiful books.
- Help fund-raise the fight for Human Rights.
- Receive training in retail and bookselling.
