We are currently looking for volunteers to get involved with a new community run cafe, doing anything from washing up to making food or helping with the advertising or admin!

We're asking for anything in between 2hrs a month or a day a week and will be open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and some evenings or weekends.

It's going good to be at the , Ivory Place.

The group itself is run by people with disabilities, and people from various other marginalised groups, including a focus on BAMER and LGBTQI*. Anyone is welcome to get involved as long as there onboard with the ethos of the program.

We will be providing food for volunteers, as well as creating a friendly and accessible community for people to be a part of. We will also be providing the opportunity for people to gain relevant training and qualifications. 

We also have surpervising roles and an organising factitaling role.


Cooking / cattering experience but not necessary.

Be able to follow simple health and safety regulations.

Being involved in a worthwhile and fun project and bring along any skills you feel like you have and contribute your ideas and see it make a difference for you and others.

Practical Considerations

You will need to have a DBS check as it's in a children's centre. If you do have a criminal record you will be considered case by case for being able to volunteer.
