Freedom Powerchairs designs, maintains, repairs, services and hires out mobility aids for people with mobility problems. The service is run entirely by volunteers.
We have just moved to a new workshop on the Dominion Way and this is enabling us to expand our services.
We are looking for someone who can help us collect and deliver wheelchairs and powerchairs to and from our customers; and collected donated equipment from donors.
You will be driving a converted minibus which has a lift for the chairs.
The role is very flexible and can be organised to fit around your other commitments.
Skills
You don't need to have done anything like this before. You just need to be physically fit, have an appropriate driving licence and be reliable.
