We are looking for some volunteers who can help us to create a warm and friendly shopping environment to help in one of our Guild Care shops.

We are especially looking for volunteers to help at our Warwick Street charity shop in Worthing town centre, our Strand Parade and Goring Road shops in Durrington and West Worthing and our Greenhouse superstore in East Worthing, a real treasure trove of interesting and unique bargains. Duties include serving customers, using the cash register and sorting donations.

Team player.

No previous experience is needed as training will be given.

  1. Being part of an amazing team and helping to play a part in raising funds for people in your local community aged 5-105.
  2. Retail experience and the opportunity to gain a reference.
  3. Volunteers receive a 10% discount on non-bought in goods at our charity shops.

Practical Considerations

Our charity shops are on local bus routes and our Greenhouse charity shop has its own car park.

When do I need to be available?

Details Some of our volunteers like to give one morning or afternoon per week, others do a bit more. Even a couple of hours per week can make a big difference.
