Guild Care's 11 charity shops across the Worthing area are reopening as the COVID-19 lockdown eases and need more volunteers now! Can you help us to create a safe, warm and friendly shopping environment in your local community?

Duties include serving customers, using the till (training given), 'dressing' the shop and sorting donations.

We are especially looking for volunteers to help at our Warwick Street charity shop in Worthing town centre, our Strand Parade and Goring Road shops in Durrington and West Worthing and our Greenhouse superstore in East Worthing, a real treasure trove of interesting and unique bargains. Duties include serving customers, using the cash register and sorting donations.

Skills

Previous experience is not necessary as training is given but wanting to make a difference to peoples lives is key. Team player.

Benefits

  1. Being part of an amazing team and helping to play a part in raising funds for people in your local community aged 5-105.
  2. Retail experience and the opportunity to gain a reference.
  3. Volunteers receive a 10% discount on non-bought in goods at our charity shops.

Practical Considerations

Our charity shops are on local bus routes and our Greenhouse charity shop has its own car park.

When do I need to be available?
