Digital Marketing Volunteer for ADHD Aware Group

ADHD Aware Group provides support for people affected by ADHD and neuro-diverse conditions, and their friends and relatives. We are looking for a volunteer to support the management committee with digital marketing.

The time required for this opportunity is 4 days per month minimum.

The range of tasks to be carried out include: 

  • Using Wordpress to post on our website alongside a Committee Volunteer 
  • To source relevant articles
  • To update blog and posts and populate with texts 
  • To send out invites to sessions – change and update templates 
  • To send SMS text message reminders 
  • To check and edit database – particularly people’s telephone numbers (ongoing task) 
  • Helping with the monthly newsletter alongside Committee member. 


Volunteers must have diagnosis of ADHD with associated neuro-diverse conditions or be seeking a diagnosis.

This role will make a significant contribution to raising awareness. 


We are still recruiting to this role despite the COVID-19 emergency because it's important to our future. We would really like to hear from you if you're interested, even if it may not be practical for us to meet in person for some time. We could talk by phone or video link initially so you can find out more about the role and if it might be right for you. 


 

 

Skills

  • IT and social media- based skills 
  • Digital marketing skills 
  • Desirable – IT/Digital marketing experience
