We are looking for a volunteer driver on a fortnightly basis to drive a gentleman from his home in Shoreham to carriage driving sessions in Hailsham.

We have a visually impaired, wheelchair bound gentleman who has a need for a volunteer driver for fortnightly visits to Hailsham.  This would be for about 4 hours, usually between the hours of 9am - 1pm, using his own mobility car.

A willing volunteer would need to go to his home in Shoreham to collect, assist with loading up the car with his powered wheelchair, then drive back to Shoreham afterwards.

There is the possibility of a pub lunch on return during some visits, so some flexibility is appreciated!

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Friendly and helpful approach
  • Able to assist with wheelchair if needed.

  • Fantastic regular social opportunity in interesting company.
  • Horse carriage driving, out of the ordinary experiences.

When do I need to be available?

Details Fortnightly on a Thursday, potentially from the 24th June onwards.
Morning Afternoon Evening
