Front of House Volunteers at The Warren 2020
The Warren / Otherplace Brighton
We, Otherplace Brighton, are looking for a great bunch of enthusiastic volunteers to be part of our 2020 Front of House Team at The Warren, one of the main sites at Brighton Fringe. This year we have 278 visiting companies joining us on our site at Victoria Gardens, where we will have six theatres, several bars, and a children’s area called The Den. The Warren will be open every day from Thursday 30 April to Sun 31 May 2020.
To join us, you should have an interest in theatre and live performance, and be keen to get involved in a public-facing role. We need you to be able to commit to 3 x 5 hour shifts per week (shifts can be morning, day and evening; weekdays and weekends), without affecting benefits.
The perks: We will of course provide full training and support for your role. You will get your personal staff card that gives you FREE entry to ALL shows at The Warren and the Electric Arcade (provided that there is room), and gets you discounts on food and drinks around site. We will also provide an employment reference after the festival. Most importantly though, this is an amazing opportunity to meet some truly fantastic people, have loads and loads and loads of FUN, and learn some new skills in an exciting festival environment!!!
The application deadline is Wednesday 8/4.
After that, we will hold a Volunteer Recruitment Day in Central Brighton (Location TBC) on Saturday 11/4, where we will have a chat with everyone and give you more information about the role and the festival. See you there!
