Independent Chair & Directors
Healthwatch Brighton and Hove
It's an exciting time for us, and we're looking to recruit new directors to join our team, including an Independent Chair and a Finance Director.
We represent Brighton & Hove residents and work to get the best out of local health and social care services by responding to local voices. We're going from strength to strength, with our work resulting in more and more positive change for people living and working in this great city.
From improving services today to helping shape better ones for tomorrow - we gather, analyse and act upon the feedback provided by patients and the public in our city, and use this to influence decision-making and drive improvement in local services like GPs, pharmacists, hospitals, dentists, care homes and community-based care.
We need team players and strategic thinkers, with good communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to speak up on behalf of Healthwatch on issues that are important.
We particularly welcome applications from those with a financial background, knowledge, and experience in public relations and communications. However, this is not a requirement.
Knowledge of the health and care agenda, a strategic vision, and a passion for championing users views and experience, along with excellent leadership and communication skills and experience of leading a Board.
- A chance to help shape the health and social care services for the people in our city.
- The opportunity to expand your networks and meet new people.
- The space to contribute your skills and experience to help change people's lives.
Deadline: Midnight on Wed 17th November
