Listening Volunteer - Worthing Samaritans
Samaritans provide 24/7 confidential and emotional support for people experiencing feelings of distress and despair. The service is mostly delivered on the telephone, but also callers are seen face to face in the branch and people also contact by email and text.
By volunteering to be a Samaritan, you can help make a real difference to others and yourself - if you've ever felt the need to give something back then now is your chance to help us create a stronger, less isolated society.
Being a volunteer is flexible and planned to fit around your other commitments. You can volunteer to help support people who contact the Samaritans, or be a non-listening volunteer who helps with other roles such as publicity, admin and many other ways. You can also apply to volunteer at Worthing Samaritans Shop in Durrington
