Would you like to help address health inequalities and increase knowledge and awareness about HIV and Sexual Health in the Black African and Caribbean community?

The BABME project in Brighton and Hove is looking for volunteers to support community outreach work in the city. From physical outreach, to building partnerships, to social media to contributing to shaping the project itself, there are multiple ways you can get involved.


Skills

  • We particularly welcome applications from people within the Black African Caribbean communities.
  • A growing understanding of and commitment to, HIV prevention work, sexual health issues and how they relate to equality and diversity.
  • The ability to work on own initiative and flexibly within a shift, with close guidance from a lead worker.
