This role is for Past & Present groups led by the LifeLines project, a branch of the leading national charity Volunteering Matters. Volunteers help run reminiscence sessions for older people living in sheltered housing in the East Brighton area.

The groups are small, usually 8-10 people, who meet weekly or fortnightly to talk about the past and share their life experiences in a safe place.

As a Reminiscence Volunteer your role would be to help organise the group, helping the group to decide on a theme, organising resources for the session, helping to facilitate the discussion and keeping a basic record of the session. Sessions are supported by two reminiscence volunteers so you would share these responsibilities each week. This role can be flexible in supporting other existing groups and dropping in to support where needed.
