We need volunteers who like dealing with people and would be happy to help out on our Reception and support various departments such as Fundraising and Finance with administration activities. Reception includes meeting and greeting people, dealing with their enquires. This is a vital volunteering role as you will be the public face of the Sussex Beacon. 


Essential attributes are an ability to work well with other people, flexibility and adaptability. Good communication skills and an ability to use initiative are also important. People with experience of working in an office environment may find this role.

Practical Considerations

The Sussex beacon is on the 37 Bus route. We have a free car park and their is also on road parking.

We pay travel expenses up to the cost a City Saver Bus Fare.

We offer a subsidised lunch for £1.50
