Worthing Repair Cafe has been open for over a year now and has been so successful that we will be extending our hours from January and will need to create an afternoon team now.  Some of the morning team are happy to extend their hours but some additional experienced repairers will be needed from 1-4.30pm to complement those we already have.

We may also need someone to help with the cafe side of things, cake baking always welcome and serving teas etc.

All tools provided. Sessions every last Saturday of the month at Quaker Meeting House, Mill Road, Worthing.  Please email for more details and check out the website:


Anyone with experience in any of the following: sewing, tool repair/sharpening, electrical items, electronic items, bikes, phones, toys, ceramics, leather would be welcome to apply.  We may also need someone to help with the cafe side of things, so cake baking and serving teas etc.


To know that you are providing an invaluable service to the community, particularly those who cannot afford to get things repaired.

To know you are contributing to keeping stuff out of landfill.

Practical Considerations

Easy access to premises, safe bike racks at the rear, bus stops outside, free car parking in adjacent streets. Tools/equipment provided.

When do I need to be available?

Details We need someone on the last Saturday of month in the afternoon only, on an ongoing basis.
