We are looking for a safeguarding manager that will take on the role by keeping up to date with current safeguarding structures set out by the government and structures of the company, as well as keeping the club informed if they think a policy may need changing for the better.  

Skills

Experience in a safeguarding role is essential to the job, an very caring nature about the importance of the role, as well as basic admin, an eye for detail, having an independent and driven work ethic.

South coast skate club c.i.c a passion of ours, the club was not set up to make lots of money, it was set up to help young people not only learn to skateboard but help them be supported, feel like they belong and give them an opportunity to be part of something bigger. 

 We would love to give someone the opportunity to help and develop our safeguarding so its of an even higher standard than it is now, as well as joining a small team. 

Practical Considerations

We wouldn't need people to commit to many hours and you could work from home.
