Supermarket Collection Day Volunteers

The Whitehawk Foodbank

Register your Interest

Throughout the year we have opportunities for people to help us with manned food drives in supermarkets across Brighton and Hove.

This could be for a couple of hours or you might like to send us a team to cover the whole day.

Any minors must be fully supervised.

This activity suits people who are confident in approaching the public with a friendly smile.

We ask volunteers to be engaging but never pushy!

An interest in food poverty issues is helpful.

1. Helping those in food poverty in your city.

2. Engaging with a generally very helpful and compassionate public who want to help.

3. Having fun in a team environment.

Practical Considerations

This activity involves standing for at least a couple of hours so volunteers need to be reasonably mobile.  Also light carrying can be involved with stacking tins, food etc.

Weekdays and weekends are available by arrangement.

When do I need to be available?
