The Hall is set up each week with tables and chairs from a storeroom.  There are currently four large tables in use, three smaller tables and chairs for members and volunteers.

Skills

A physically fit person is required to set up tables and chairs and to put them away after each weekly meeting.

Also, help is required to set up the screen and data projector for guest speakers as and when they are booked to speak.

A Disclosure and Barring Certificate is essential or the willingness to obtain one prior to taking up the position, in September.

Practical Considerations

The 700 bus stops at the Saltings Roundabout, opposite Shoreham Airport. From there it is a short walk to the Church of the Good Shepherd Church Hall, Kings Drive.

There is a number 19 bus which serves Shoreham Beach but only runs hourly.

There is ample parking space in the grounds of the Hall, for those using a car.

When do I need to be available?

Details This volunteering position is available from September 2019. There is the possibility to work alongside the current volunteer, prior to September.
