Volunteer Amnesty Speaker – South East
Amnesty International UK
Amnesty International UK are recruiting new volunteers based in the South East to join our programme of Amnesty Speakers to deliver human rights education in your local schools.
About the role
Human rights education is a strategic priority for Amnesty International UK. We want to ensure that all children and young people in the UK can access human rights education so that they know, value and can claim their rights.
Amnesty Speakers play a key role in us reaching our human rights education goal by volunteering time and skills to deliver human rights workshops, lessons and assemblies in local schools and in other youth settings.
Amnesty Speakers are provided with training, resources and support to reach out to schools in their local area and deliver effective human rights education.
If you want to champion human rights in your community, enjoy working with children and young people and have availability to volunteer occasionally during school hours then this flexible volunteering programme is ideal for you.
