Special Branch Tree Nursery

Register your Interest

Helping out at our lovely tree nursery at Stanmer Organics in Stanmer Park, where we grow native trees from seed. Jobs follow the seasons. We gather seeds in autumn and process them. Winter is a time for maintenance of our plot. Springtime is for checking germination and transplanting.  In summer we water and feed our new seedlings. We have leisurely tasks and vigorous activities...you choose!

If you have a love for our local wild trees and shrubs and an enthusiasm for nature conservation, we'd love to meet you.

  • Work outdoors with other volunteers in nature.
  • Learn how to grow trees from seed.
  • Practice organic horticulture.
