Volunteer Note Taker and Chair Support for the Equality Diversity and Inclusion
West Sussex Mind
We are seeking a volunteer, with lived experience of managing their own mental health and well-being, to help meet the diverse needs of our local communities. West Sussex Mind believes that by involving and co-producing with people who use and care about our services, we can understand their diverse needs better and focus on what matters to them. It is therefore key to us developing and delivering high-quality and effective services which represent the diverse communities we work in. We would specifically would like to recruit disabled volunteers, black Asian and minority ethnic volunteers, women, younger people and volunteers from the LGBTQ+ community.
Skills
Someone who is punctual and reliable. Ability to interpret information to produce good quality minutes. Ability to use teams, Zoom and Microsoft Word independently. Good level of keyboard skills to be able to take notes/minutes during a meeting. Commitment to confidentiality.
