Starfish is a not-for-profit kids club providing after-school care for primary school aged children in Brighton and Hove. We're looking for a volunteer to join our Hove club on Friday afternoons from 3 pm - 6 pm. Tasks will include- helping us pick up the children from their school and walking across to our setting (5 minute walk), assisting the children with activities, games and play. Helping prepare and serve snack to the children, adhering to our policies, procedures and safety measures. This position is ongoing and would be perfect for someone who has some previous experience of working with children but is looking to gain further experience.  

Skills

We're looking for someone who has had previous experience working with children between the ages 4-11 in either a professional or voluntary capacity (i.e babysitting, looking after your own children).

Practical Considerations

The club is based at St Andrew's Church Hall on Church Road, Hove. The number 1 and number 49 bus stop right outside. There is no parking directly at the hall but sometimes spaces on Hannington Road behind the hall.
